Humble Beginnings

I started Animal Artistry nearly 40 years ago in my garage with the simple vision that animals were both beautiful and dignified. This vision was not reflected in the majority of taxidermy work I had seen, so I quit my job and gave myself two years to make something happen.

A New Vision of Taxidermy

I began to experiment with animals in motion and even suspending them in extreme action. It was especially important to also reflect the habitat the animals live in, since I knew that animals did not exist in a void. The end result, we were creating lifelike wildlife art.

Overcoming the Odds

Over the years, I struggled immensely, both financially and organizationally since I had no business background, but somehow, we overcame and kept going. Today, we have a strong company with approximately 35 employees and a worldwide reputation. We have prided ourselves throughout this process of having impeccable integrity, and that, along with our vision of animals in motion, has carried us for decades.

Staying Strong

As you can probably guess, we, like other small businesses, are unsure of the future. The pandemic has hit us severely, but we are doing our best to keep all of our employees and stay afloat. It is with this mindset that we continue to stay strong during difficult times, and keep focused on creating wildlife art, which is both beautiful and dignified.
