Items being shipped must be properly preserved. We recommend wrapping salted hides in burlap or cloth. Do not use plastic bags for salted hides, as trapped moisture may cause irreparable hair slippage or rotting.

All fresh (unsalted) skins must be shipped frozen in triple plastic bags to prevent leakage during transit.

  • Ship on Mondays or Tuesdays only

  • Depending on the season, overnight shipping is recommended

  • In some cases, second-day delivery may be acceptable

  • Please confirm shipping timelines with Stewart Brown prior to shipment

Please include the following information inside your shipment:

  • Full Name

  • Complete Address

  • Daytime Telephone Number

  • Hunting License Number

  • Tag or Seal Number

  • Fax Number (if applicable)

  • Email Address

Ensure your package is clearly labeled with your name and return address on the outside. If contents are perishable or require immediate attention, please mark the package accordingly.

All shipments must comply with state game laws and federal regulations.

Cabela’s offers water-proof duffle bags to ship your trophies home, depending on size. It is perfect to package a hide for transport without the worry if the bag will survive the trip home.
